THE ROAD TRIP

My problem is to get bored fast, even if I’m on another side of the world. I needed to change this vibe, and for this I needed to be the most active I could.
So, I decided to change it, and I organized something that makes me always happy: Traveling.

What is better than a road trip around Australia?

I started to look where we could go, how, and with which budget?

Salvador was almost in his school holidays. It gave me one week to organized everything and to book for our trip. Emmanuel was our roommate from another house on Whickam terrace, he joined us in our idea to go on a Road trip around Queensland.

We decided to do a maximum of things in one week but we needed a car to be able to do all this, we were looking for a camper van and then we booked with a company called wicked campers:

We decided to book for one week all included with insurance, I will explain you in this post why is it important to include an insurance in case something unexpected happens during your trip.

EQUIPMENT FOR EAT

If you plan to eat on the highway or a camping site, you need to ask them to give you cooking equipment.

depending on amount of people you are, they will borrow you some plates, cups, and other stuff to be able to prepare your food, including a bottle of gas or two, depending also on how many days you will rent the car.

To get an extra day for free was one of our surprises when we arrived to the camper van site.

At one condition, that was a picture completely naked on the whole of the campers.

We did it, because why not? An original way to win something and save money. We could hide our intimate parts even if was not the Principe but we won one day more and this was Nice.

THE FIRST ADVENTURE DAY STARTED

On our first day, we planned to go from Brisbane to a place called Snapper rocks in Queensland.

Brisbane to snapper rock was 1 hour and 21mins.

I decided to drive in first, Salvador was my copilot, and Emmanuel was the DJ on the back of the car. Driving was something I didn't do since France. And driving on the left side was disturbing.

The car was automatic like most of the car in Australia. It was strange at the beginning but I get adapted to 20 minutes of driving.

SNAPPER ROCKS

We were on the road to Snapper rocks, there was no sun but the weather was still hot. We parked the car in public parking and started our first activity.

This place was beautiful with a lot of suffers, there was little space like a pool for jump and swam. we played, took some pictures.

TIME TO EAT

We decided that it was time to eat and we did our first grocery of the trip on the first place we find.

On the next day, the second destination we planned to go was Byron bay. On the way to Byron Bay, we stopped at a market to make the grocery for the week, and we were hungry, we stopped to eat a pizza before driving and look a new place where to go.
