GUADALAJARA

At the beginning of March, we packed our stuff and drove to our new house called Casa mariachi.

HOSTEL MARIACHI

This time, when we arrived the house was almost empty. There was one Mexican working and locked in this room every day.

The next day, we saw the Spanish guy again, that was there the first day we visited the place.

We spend one week with him, and we took some time to organize, what was going to happen with this house.

The other residents of the Hostel were on a trip to another city and they came back two weeks later.

We had a huge house for ourselves in the center of the city. We had this time to cleaned, organizing, discovering our new place and our new area.

Then when everyone came back the problems started. we did not have the experience of managing a hostel. We were young, coming back from a lockdown.

We just wanted to have fun with our new friends, without rules, and make parties every day. But Salvador's uncle gave us responsibilities and a job opportunity that we couldn’t lose at this time.

Even if was not easy at the beginning, we took our role more seriously and did our possible to manage and keep this place safe as possible, and started to bring more people, getting this place better.

We meet more people and we were still enjoying our new life in this city.

A lot happened to the Hostel Mariachi in 2 months, a new person was working there, and we couldn’t just stay there more times, so we decided that it was our time to move one and we took the decision to leave the hostel.

Tequila

During our time working on the hostel we visited Tequila:

Los Azules, tequila

Guadalajara is the capital of Mexico’s Jalisco state and Jalisco is the birthplace of tequila.

Submerge yourself in one of the best artisanal/Industrial distilleries where Mexico’s emblematic drink is produced, get to know the whole process from the agave fields, cooking process, fermentation, and distillation!

Cascada Los Azules

This waterfall is called Los Azules, begin your tour walking through gorgeous fields of blue agaves, along a road dotted with chunks of high‑quality black obsidian. The fall is around 70 meters tall and runs all year round. Don’t forget your swimsuit and a camera!

We also had the chance to go to Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta to Salvador Grandpa's house.

watching the sunset on a jetski on the beach called Playa Varadero for 500 pesos the hour.

We went to a place called Vallarta Adventure and swim with the Dolfin ( https://www.vallarta-adventures.com/en/tour/dolphin-signature )

Sayulita, Nayarit.

Next to Puerto Vallarta, there is a place called Sayulita. At the first moment, we visited this place, we fell in love. We decided this place was going to be our next destination to live. But before we needed to save more money to move to the next place.

3 months more in Guadalajara

We stayed three months more in a new house that we found on the Facebook market. Not far from the Hostel mariachi, and closer to the job of Salvador.

I was still working for a family as a babysitting and French teacher that I also found on Facebook.

During these months, we worked a lot and save as much as money we could.

Guanajuato

We still had some fun times going to Guanajuato.

I also recommend you to go and give you some places to visit on the travel guide on my Instagram:

Next Destination

At the begging of November, we packed our suitcase, we said goodbye again to our friends, the family of Salvador and drove to our next destination; SAYULITA.
